The Millénaire Minecraft Mod for Minecraft is a popular mod that was featured in the Yogbox mod pack. People requested a stand alone version, so here it is. This mod adds Norman and Indian villages to the Minecraft world. These randomly generated villages will appear in new areas. They have different kinds of villagers working different roles. Type of villagers:
There are seven types of villagers in the Millénaire mod. They are:
Farmers: Grow wheat in the fields around their house and store it in chests.
Lumberjacks: Cut down trees and plant saplings. Gather wood and apples which they store in chests.
Wives: Use resources to create things. They build, trade with players, make bread, and make cider.
Children: Grow up to be adults when bread and houses are available.
Guards: Protects the village.
Priests: Visits church and taverns.
Smiths: Makes Norman tools in the forge.
Village Expansion:
Each village will start out with 6 people. But as they have children and build houses, the villages will expand. With wood, cobblestone, glass, and stone they can build more advanced buildings. A complete village will include a church, tavern, fountains, bakery, a presbytery, a guard tower, and a castle. Unfortunately, the villagers are only capable of gathering wood by themselves. They need to get the rest of the materials by trading with the player.
Trade:
You can trade with villagers at the town hall, the bakery, and the tavern. To trade, right click on the woman in one of the locations near the chests. Hold the shift key while clicking on an item to trade by 8 or ctrl for 64.
Town Hall: You can sell stone, cobblestone, iron, wood, and glass here. Anything sold will be exchanged for Deniers, the currency of the villages. Deniers can be used to buy wood and the village wand here.
Bakery: You can buy bread here.
Tavern: You can buy cider here. The tavern will only be built when enough glass has been sold to the town hall.
Locate a Village:
Press “V” to display the name of the village, distance, and general direction.
Village Wand:
Using a village wand on an obsidian block will create a village in that location. Be very careful! There is a possibility that the village will spawn on top of you and end up killing you.
